Fantasy Classics Unleashes Monster Maze DLC

Tin Man Games has launched Eye of the Dragon as part of its Fighting Fantasy Classics collection, now available across all digital platforms including Android, iOS, and Steam for PC and Mac. This nostalgic dungeon-crawling adventure brings classic tabletop excitement to modern devices.

A Historic Digital Release

Marking its first availability since 2010, this installment was penned by Ian Livingstone, co-creator of the Fighting Fantasy series. Originally published in 2005 during Wizard Books' series revival, Eye of the Dragon traces its origins to a mini-adventure from Dicing with Dragons. With this release, it becomes the 19th official entry in the Fighting Fantasy Classics lineup.

The adventure plunges players into monster-ridden catacombs beneath Darkwood Forest, where the legendary Golden Dragon - Allansia's most coveted treasure - awaits discovery. Your quest begins in Fang's tavern when a mysterious stranger offers a life-changing opportunity... at the potential cost of drinking a lethal potion.

Expect a dungeon teeming with peril and rewards: cunning traps, arcane relics, scattered gemstones, and numerous toothy threats. Even an imprisoned dwarf might prove more significant than a typical NPC encounter.

Enhanced Digital Experience

This isn't merely a digitized book - Tin Man Games has incorporated quality-of-life improvements. Players can adjust difficulty settings, enjoy a Free Read mode for exploration without combat, and utilize an auto-mapping system to navigate the labyrinthine corridors. The edition also includes unlimited bookmarks and an automated adventure sheet tracking character stats and inventory.

Eye of the Dragon joins other franchise favorites like The Warlock of Firetop Mountain, Deathtrap Dungeon, and House of Hell in the Classics library. With more titles planned for future release, fans can follow updates via the Google Play Store. For related gaming news, explore our coverage of Pikmin Bloom's Earth Day event.
