EA Closing Long-Running Mobile Game 'Simpsons: Tapped Out'
EA's popular mobile game, The Simpsons: Tapped Out, is ending its run after twelve years. This city-building game, initially released in 2012 (iOS) and 2013 (Android), will be shutting down its servers.
The Shutdown Timeline:
In-app purchases are already unavailable. The game will be removed from app stores on October 31st, 2024. Existing players can continue to enjoy the game until January 24th, 2025, when the servers officially close. EA expressed gratitude to its players in the shutdown announcement, acknowledging the long-standing partnership with The Simpsons and Disney.
