Begin your journey by speaking with Botim, situated south of the Rinascita-Ragunna-Thessaleo Fells northern Resonance Beacon. He will explain the situation with the shadowy monsters plaguing the ancestral towers and offer rewards for their elimination. This initiates the Shadow of the Past quest.

Thorncrown Rises Tower Locations

Three towers comprise this quest, each forming a sub-quest:

• Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise: Located northeast of Thorncrown Rises.
• Shadow of the Towers: Twilight Rise: Situated south of Thorncrown Rises.
• Shadow of the Towers: Command Rise: Found southwest of Thorncrown Rises.

Resounding Rise

Locate Itzel east of the Resounding Rise Tower to begin. The tower's challenge involves navigating its interior, defeating Abyssal Mercators, and correctly arranging paintings. Specific steps include:

1. Interact with the hallway painting to enter a hidden area.
2. Follow quest markers, defeating Abyssal Mercators and collecting supply chests along the way. This involves traversing multiple rooms and utilizing additional paintings as portals.
3. Solve the painting puzzle by rearranging them in the following order: Top-left to bottom-right, then the painting behind the top-left to the bottom-left, the top-right to the top-left, and finally the painting behind the bottom-right to the top-right.
4. Defeat a final Abyssal Mercator, claim the rewards, and speak to Itzel. This weakens one Command Rise Tower barrier.

Twilight Rise

Speak to Insula southeast of the Twilight Rise Tower to initiate this stage. The challenge here involves a time loop. Follow these steps:

1. Enter the tower and follow the quest markers until the time loop is revealed.
2. Investigate marked locations to find clues.
3. Interact with Insula, then access a secret passage beneath the elevator.
4. Defeat the Abyssal Patricius and collect supply chests.
5. Confront the Abyssal Patricius again, collect rewards, and speak with Insula to complete the quest. This weakens the second Command Rise Tower barrier.

Command Rise

After completing the previous two towers, the Command Rise sub-quest automatically begins. This stage requires traversal, combat, and puzzle-solving:

1. Speak with Insula and Itzel at the camp northeast of the tower.
2. Utilize the Wingray to reach the tower's entrance.
3. Navigate the tower's interior, collecting supply chests and defeating enemies. This involves grappling and utilizing moving libraries to reach higher levels.
4. Locate and open two Sonance Caskets: Ragunna.
5. Use the chandelier mechanism to reach the tower's peak.
6. Interact with Insula and Itzel, then use the portal to confront the final Abyssal Patricius.
7. Claim the Call of the Abyss Rectifier, Premium Supply chest, and the King of Thessaleo and Shadow of the Tower achievements.

Completing all three towers unlocks significant rewards and achievements, marking a significant progression within Wuthering Waves.
