Following the buzz around their new game Project C4, ZA/UM has just unveiled plans for an official mobile version of their critically acclaimed title, Disco Elysium. Exclusively tailored for Android users, this move aims to introduce the game to a fresh audience while offering a convenient, on-the-go option for existing fans. The first two chapters will be available to play for free, with a one-time payment unlocking the complete, ad-free experience.

ZA/UM emphasized their commitment to ensuring players can make an informed choice about their purchase. The studio, now a blend of creators and custodians of the Disco Elysium IP, is dedicated to upholding the integrity and quality of the mobile adaptation.

Studio head Denis Havel shared an ambitious vision for Disco Elysium on mobile, targeting the TikTok audience. He envisions captivating this demographic with quick bursts of engaging storytelling, stunning art, and immersive audio, aiming to redefine entertainment for mobile users.

Accompanying the announcement, ZA/UM released a debut trailer and a series of screenshots showcasing the mobile version. The game features new 360-degree scenes designed to immerse players in the heart of Revachol, complemented by fully voiced audio that enriches the character-driven experience.

This is a total re-imagination of the award-winning, gripping psychological RPG Disco Elysium, designed to cater to the habits of today's mobile users. This story-rich adventure has been optimized for short play sessions, allowing players to dive in anytime, anyplace on their mobile devices.

Narrative Lead Chris Priestman described the mobile version as "what audiobooks wish they were," crafted to be enjoyed in brief, engaging sessions.

Disco Elysium is set to hit mobile devices via Google Android in the summer of 2025.

It's important to mention that while the studio retains the name ZA/UM, many of the original team members behind Disco Elysium have since departed. Numerous former ZA/UM members have left the studio since the game's release, with some now working on spiritual successors.
