Crunchyroll Drops Roguelike Rhythm Game Crypt Of The NecroDancer On Android

Crunchyroll brings the rhythm-based roguelike, Crypt of the NecroDancer, to Android! Now available as "Crunchyroll: NecroDancer," this beat-matching adventure challenges players with procedurally generated dungeons and a killer soundtrack.

Originally released on PC in 2015, and previously on iOS and Android, this Crunchyroll release boasts enhanced mobile features and a wealth of added content.

What awaits you in the Crypt?

Players step into the shoes of Cadence, a treasure hunter's daughter searching for her missing parent within a rhythmically-infused crypt. Fifteen playable characters, each with unique styles, await. Master the moves to Danny Baranowsky's original soundtrack, dodging enemies and collecting loot—all perfectly timed to the music. Fail to keep the beat, and it's game over! Expect a diverse cast of enemies, from dancing skeletons to hip-hop dragons.

More Than Just a Port

This mobile version isn't just a simple port. Crunchyroll and Brace Yourself Games have added remixes, new content, and even Danganronpa character skins! Cross-platform multiplayer and mod support are also included. And for Hatsune Miku fans, DLC featuring the virtual pop star and the Synchrony expansion is planned for later this year.

Crunchyroll subscribers can download Crypt of the NecroDancer now from the Google Play Store. Stay tuned for more gaming news, including the upcoming Star Trek Lower Decks x Doctor Who crossover!
