No More Collecting Stage Girls! Revue Starlight Re LIVE Announces Its EOS
Revue Starlight Re LIVE is officially shutting down. The mobile game, based on the popular anime, will cease operations on September 30th, 2024, at 07:00 UTC, ending its nearly six-year run on Android.
Reasons for the Shutdown:
While featuring a strategic battle system and impressive 3D graphics and Live2D animations, Revue Starlight Re LIVE struggled to maintain player engagement. Factors contributing to its closure include repetitive events, reused assets, expensive battle passes, and confusing plot developments. The game's performance issues were evident for some time, leading to this unfortunately unsurprising announcement. The shutdown affects the game globally, including Japan.
A Final Farewell:
Despite the closure, players still have a few weeks to enjoy the game. Developers are launching several events in August and September to thank players. These include a "Thank You For Everything" campaign offering 10 free daily pulls and a two-month birthday celebration with new character gacha events. Download the game from the Google Play Store to experience these final events.
