Clash Heroes Rises Again with Project R.I.S.E.
Clash Heroes lives on... in spirit! While the original game is no more, its visual legacy continues in Supercell's new title, Project R.I.S.E. This isn't a direct sequel, but rather a fresh roguelite action game leveraging Clash Heroes' distinctive art style.
Project R.I.S.E., currently in pre-alpha, is a social roguelite experience. Players team up in groups of three to conquer The Tower. The developer video below offers a closer look.
The primary carryover from Clash Heroes is its unique visual aesthetic. Assets and art will be central to Project R.I.S.E.'s presentation.
Project R.I.S.E.'s Outlook:
Supercell's track record includes cancelling underperforming games, so cautious optimism is warranted. The recent launch of Squad Busters might also impact Project R.I.S.E.'s development and reception, especially considering the competitive mobile multiplayer market.
Project R.I.S.E. has been in development for some time. Its pre-alpha stage offers hope for a soon-to-be-released game infused with the visual charm of the dearly departed Clash Heroes.
