"Clash of Clans: Major Updates Coming in March 2025"
Get ready, Clash of Clans fans! The game is set for a groundbreaking update in March 2025, responding to years of player feedback. This update promises to be one of the most transformative in the game's history, with several features set to disappear.
No Troop, Spell, or Siege Machine Training Time!
Imagine being able to launch back-to-back attacks without any waiting period. The March 2025 update eliminates training times for troops, spells, and siege machines, making your battles feel more dynamic and fast-paced. Additionally, hero recovery times are also being removed, ensuring your heroes are always ready for action. This change will apply to players in the Titan League and below, while the Legend League maintains its daily eight-battle limit for now.
This shift is part of Clash of Clans' ongoing effort to remove outdated mechanics. Following the removal of training costs in 2022, the elimination of training time further empowers players to enjoy the game without artificial barriers.
As part of these changes, Training Potions and Training Treats will become obsolete and will be phased out. They will no longer be available in in-app purchase bundles, and any remaining in player inventories will be converted into Gems.
There’s a New Match Anytime System!
When real bases are scarce, the new Match Anytime system comes into play. You can now attack snapshot bases—saved versions of real player bases that are under Shield. These battles function identically to regular ones, allowing you to earn loot and trophies, but without affecting the defender. This system, already utilized in Clan Wars and Legend League attacks, is now expanding to multiplayer battles.
Alongside this, adjustments to Trophy Curves are being made. With the possibility of more battles per session, the amount of trophies earned from victories will be reduced. Furthermore, Clan Castle request timers are being standardized to 10 minutes for all players.
