The announcement of the Chainsaw Man movie came in December 2023, serving as a direct sequel to the anime series produced by MAPPA, which debuted in 2022. The story follows Denji, a young protagonist who gains a new lease on life after striking a deal with Pochita, a Chainsaw Devil dog. This unique bond grants Denji the ability to transform parts of his body into chainsaws, propelling him into a world far beyond that of a mere Chainsaw Man.
Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc will introduce fans to the new character Reze, a pivotal figure from the original manga. Directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara and written by Hiroshi Seko, the film brings back the entire voice cast from the anime series to reprise their roles, ensuring a seamless continuation of the beloved story.
