Castle Doombad Unleashes Free-to-Play Mayhem for Android
Castle Doombad is back! Now available on Android as Castle Doombad: Free To Slay, this tower defense strategy game, originally released in 2014 by Grumpyface Studios and published by Yodo1, is ready to unleash your inner villain.
Grumpyface, known for hits like Steven Universe: Attack the Light and Teeny Titans, initially planned a single Castle Doombad remake. Instead, they created Free To Slay for mobile and a Classic version for PC and Nintendo Switch (releasing later this year on Switch and Steam). A sequel, Castle Doombad 2: Muahaha!, is also in development.
Unleash Your Inner Evil!
Build a wicked lair and fend off heroic do-gooders using traps and minions as your weapons! This free-to-play game (with ads and optional in-app purchases) offers the complete original game, featuring 70 stages, daily challenges, endless modes, over 30 traps to unlock and upgrade, and more than 100 collectible items.
Customize your Dark Lord and his command center with unlockable cosmetics ("spoils"), and combine them with "Baddie Bonus" perks. A new roguelite mode, "Dr. Lord Evilstein's Roguevenge," adds randomly generated castle layouts and collectible Nightmares, granting unique villainous powers.
