The awards featured 13 categories, with finalists selected by a 49-judge panel. All nominees were playable at the Sao Paulo Expo, demonstrating a refreshing inclusion of mobile games alongside PC titles, highlighting the significance of the mobile gaming market.

The coveted "Best Mobile Game" award went to Triband ApS's "What the Car?", a title previously featured in an article highlighting lesser-known gems. This win underscores the game's quality and deserves its newfound recognition.
