Bethesda to Announce Oblivion Remaster Tomorrow

Author : Elijah Update : Apr 25,2025

After months of swirling rumors and leaks, it appears Bethesda is on the verge of officially unveiling the much-anticipated remaster of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. The announcement is scheduled for tomorrow at 11:00 am EST, and fans can catch the reveal live on both YouTube and Twitch.

Bethesda teased the announcement with a post on Twitter/X, featuring a prominent "IV" and a background reminiscent of iconic Oblivion artwork, leaving little doubt about what's in store.

Speculation about an Oblivion remake has been rampant for years, fueled by various leaks. The first hint came from a 2020 Bethesda release schedule leak during the FTC vs. Microsoft trial in 2023, which mentioned an Oblivion remaster planned for fiscal year 2022. Although the timeline had passed, suggesting it might have been canceled, renewed hope emerged in January of this year with leaks indicating a full-blown remake in development by Bethesda and Virtuos. Last week's leaks from Virtuos' website, including images of the remake, further solidified these rumors.

If the recent leaks hold true, The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion Remastered will be available on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation, with a Deluxe Edition that includes the iconic horse armor alongside the standard version.

Be sure to tune in tomorrow for what promises to be the official confirmation and more exciting details about this eagerly awaited release.
