The object of the game is to survive…

Upon entering your world and claiming your plot, you might think the goal is to protect your land. However, the true objective is to **survive, or simply put, not die**. The game will present you with multiple hazards, and your task is to outlast them. The ideal strategy is to **build a defensive structure on your plot**, but you can also **evade the dangers by roaming the world until they pass**—a method that proved effective for us. Each successful survival earns you a "Win" and some in-game currency, which is crucial for progressing. Keep an eye on the screen messages and focus on staying alive.

… dying is completely normal

**Don't fret over death**; it's a common occurrence in *Build Defense*. You'll die frequently, but the consequences are minimal. You'll respawn immediately, lose your items, and fail the current wave, but these setbacks are manageable. You can **repurchase your weapons and items**, and the threats won't damage your structures. New attack waves occur every two minutes, giving you ample opportunity to try again. Essentially, **you only lose a bit of time**, which isn't a significant loss.

Build high, not low

We initially thought surrounding our plot with walls would suffice for defense, but this approach was ineffective. Monsters exploited any openings we left for entry and exit. A more successful tactic is to **construct a tall set of stairs leading to a platform high in the sky**. When night falls, ascend to this safe haven. Monsters attempting to climb the steep stairs are likely to fall, and those reaching the top can be met with **a barrage of turrets**. This setup is nearly foolproof and should see you through most nights.

Don’t just build, explore!

Beyond your plot, the island offers numerous activities. You can **visit other players, trade ores, and undertake quests**. Most quests require a certain number of Wins to unlock, but some, like the **Gingerbread's House quest**, are immediately available. Completing these quests can unlock exciting new building components, enhancing your construction options.

The “Shop” isn’t just for premium items

As you advance in the game, don't overlook the Shop. **Most items there can be purchased with in-game currency**, but you'll need to accumulate Wins first. Spend some time playing before exploring the Shop. Also, make sure to join the Swiftplay Roblox group, and like, favorite, and follow the game to receive a free gift.

When you’re ready, move to the next area

Once you've earned 190 Wins, you can transition to the next area and restart the cycle. Each new area introduces fresh disasters, quests, and building opportunities.
