Witch Ascendancy Classes in PoE2
Infernalist
The Infernalist stands out as one of the most powerful Witches in Path of Exile 2, armed with a formidable array of fire spells. If you relished the thrill of summoning multiple minions at the start of your journey, the Infernalist introduces the Infernal Hound—a new skill that calls forth a spectral beast from the underworld to fight by your side.
Ever imagined transforming into a creature of pure hellfire? The Infernalist can fulfill that fantasy. By adopting a demonic form, you'll enhance your attack damage and mobility, though it comes at the cost of faster health depletion. To endure longer in this form, the Loyal Hellhound skill is crucial. Another essential node, Beidat's Will, ties your Spirit to your maximum HP, necessitating investment in this stat alongside Strength. This enables you to command a formidable army of the undead, enhancing your tactical options on the battlefield.

Blood Mage
While the Blood Mage may not be as popular or balanced as the Infernalist, it offers a uniquely engaging gameplay experience. Embracing Sanguimancy, you'll walk a razor's edge between life and death, using HP instead of MP for your spells. This shift demands careful management, as recklessness can lead to swift demise.
To mitigate this risk, Vitality Siphon and Life Remnants drain health from your foes. Sunder the Flesh boosts the critical hit chance needed to activate buffs, while Gore Spike amplifies this type of attack damage.

Sorcerer Ascendancy Classes in PoE2
Stormweaver
As a Stormweaver, you'll unleash massive elemental damage with a high critical hit chance, thanks to Tempest Caller, which triggers Elemental Storm. A cornerstone of the Stormweaver's strategy is to inflict status ailments on enemies, facilitated by the Strike Twice passive skill. Leveraging the new Spirit Gems mechanic, you can amplify your elemental attacks' damage against groups suffering from negative effects.
Constant Gale and Force of Will enhance spell casting speed and MP regeneration, vital for a spell-centric playstyle. The unique Heart of the Storm node significantly boosts survivability by converting part of your Elemental Damage into an Energy Shield, ensuring you can withstand multiple assaults.

Chronomancer
The Chronomancer introduces a novel gameplay element not found in the original Path of Exile—time manipulation. Exclusive spells like Temporal Rift and Time Freeze open up new avenues for strategic combat and experimentation.
Currently, the Chronomancer may not be the most potent Sorcerer Ascendancy, but it holds immense potential. As a master of time, you can exploit skills like Now and Again, which occasionally bypasses spell cooldowns, Apex of the Moment to slow nearby enemies, and Quicksand Hourglass to accelerate your magic creation.

Warrior Ascendancy Classes in PoE2
Warbringer
The Warbringer combines war cries with totem summons, excelling in close combat by maximizing melee damage. This approach remains effective against bosses, as totems can divert enemy attention and absorb damage intended for you.
Enhance your armor penetration with Imploding Impacts and Anvil’s Weight to heighten your build's effectiveness. Warcaller’s Bellow causes enemy corpses to explode upon using a Warcry, while Greatwolf’s Howl removes Warcry cooldowns. For those who prefer defense, Renly’s Training and Turtle Charm will bolster your shield and blocking capabilities.

Titan
If you favor control over risk-taking, the Titan path offers a formidable choice. With powerful, albeit slower, attacks, Titans immobilize enemies, compelling them to break through heavy armor before inflicting damage. Stone Skin enhances your gear's defensive capabilities by 50%, while Mysterious Lineage increases your max HP by 15%, bolstering your survivability.
But Titans aren't just defensive bulwarks—they can deal substantial damage as well. Unlike Warbringers, they boast unique offensive abilities like Earthbreaker and Ancestral Empowerment, which fortify Slam abilities. Surprising Strength boosts damage against stunned enemies by 40%.

Monk Ascendancy Classes in PoE2
Invoker
The Invoker empowers Monks to harness elemental forces, granting access to powerful abilities and status-enhancing effects. This melee-focused class uses elemental damage and status effects to decimate foes and trigger potent effects. Additionally, the Invoker’s ability to utilize Power Charges to enhance skills adds strategic depth to your gameplay.

Acolyte of Chayula
Embracing the darkness, the Acolyte of Chayula gains dominion over dark forces bestowed by Chayula. The Embrace the Darkness skill allows you to forgo the Spirit resource entirely, increasing your maximum Darkness to 100 and granting exceptional survivability.
To further solidify your defenses, combine Consuming Questions with Mana Leech. However, be cautious, as this setup removes the Energy Shield's cooldown, relying solely on MP drain, which (as of version 0.1.1) is not yet efficient. Until this issue is resolved, the Acolyte remains less viable than the Invoker.

Mercenary Ascendancy Classes in PoE2
Witchhunter
In the current version of PoE2, the Witchhunter stands out as one of the most potent classes, specializing in hunting and swiftly eliminating demons and the undead. It excels at dealing increased damage on both the initial and final hits, making it adept at clearing weaker enemies. Against bosses, passive skills such as Pitiless Killer, Damage vs Low Life Enemies, and Judge, Jury, and Executioner can be pivotal in clinching victory in tight situations.
Witchbane and No Mercy facilitate a playstyle focused on reducing enemy concentration (affecting their skill activation speed) and dealing increased damage. The Witchhunter's deep-seated hatred for demons and the undead is embodied in the Zealous Inquisition node, which has a 10% chance to cause slain enemies to explode, damaging nearby foes.

Gemling Legionnaire
The Gemling Legionnaire revolves uniquely around gems, affecting gameplay through their stats, quality, and even color. Thaumaturgical Infusion boosts resistances based on the number of equipped stones of a particular color, while Crystalline Potential and Implanted Gems enhance the level of all skills.
Advanced Thaumaturgy not only reduces skill costs but also lowers attribute requirements, similar to Adaptive Capability. A particularly transformative node is Integrated Efficiency, which adds three additional active skill slots to your arsenal. Gem Studded is also invaluable, allowing the use of two identical Support stones, unlocking vast potential for experimentation and powerful builds.

Ranger Ascendancy Classes in PoE2
Deadeye
The Deadeye Ascendancy caters to those who relish ranged combat, offering unique passive skills that boost effective attack range and damage output. Endless Munitions allows you to fire an additional projectile per skill use, perfect for clearing entire screens of enemies.
This path suits players who prefer the classic bow over the modern crossbow and aim to focus on elemental damage. Increased movement speed, extra projectiles, and an additional Mark will prove invaluable in this case.

Pathfinder
If green is your color, the Pathfinder is your ideal choice. As a master of poisoning, this class drains enemies' health bars with double efficiency. The passive skill Overwhelming Toxicity doubles the amount of Poison applied but shortens the debuff duration.
Be cautious! One of the Pathfinder's signature weapons is the gas grenade, which, when combined with high movement speed and slow resistance, allows you to quickly blanket the battlefield in toxic mist. If you enjoy poison mechanics and unique gameplay, this path is tailor-made for you.

Remember, we've only covered twelve of the thirty-six planned Ascendancy Classes. As Path of Exile 2 progresses through early access, these are the currently available specialization paths for your characters. More will be added over time, and future updates may alter passive skills, meaning the details in this guide may vary from the final version.
