Arnold shocked by son's White Lotus scene

In true dad fashion, Hollywood icon Arnold Schwarzenegger admitted he was just as surprised as anyone when his son Patrick bared all in Season 3 of The White Lotus.

"I'm watching your show, and there you are with your backside on full display," the 77-year-old quipped during his Variety Actors on Actors interview, captured in the tweet below alongside his son.

"Then I spotted your... weenie, and I'm like, 'What's happening here?' It was wild! But then it hit me - 'Arnold, hello? Remember Conan and Terminator? You weren't exactly modest either.' Still, seeing you follow that closely in my footsteps was quite a shock."

While Patrick's role in The White Lotus Season 3 marked his big breakthrough, he's been steadily building his resume including 2022's The Staircase miniseries and 2024's American Sports Story.

For me, his standout performance remains 2019's psychological thriller Daniel Isn't Real, where he portrays Miles Robbins' troubled character's imaginary friend. Over the years, Patrick has consistently demonstrated acting chops that stand apart from his father's legendary career.

The elder Schwarzenegger began his film journey with 1970's Hercules in New York before achieving global fame as The Terminator. Though absent from films since 2019, he headlines Netflix's FUBAR since 2023 and will soon appear in Kung Fury 2 and The Man With the Bag.
