Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete Snack Guide: Maximize Friendship Levels

This guide covers everything you need to know about snacks in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete, from obtaining them to strategically using them to boost friendship levels and accelerate your Camp Manager Level progression. Friendship level increases directly impact your experience gain, making snacks invaluable, especially early in the game.

Acquiring Snacks in Pocket Camp Complete

Gulliver's Ship: Your Primary Snack Source

Gulliver's Ship offers the most reliable method for obtaining snacks. Sending him to special "gold islands" yields Villager Maps, and completing all souvenirs on a special island rewards you with 20 Gold Treats. If you've already collected all Villager Maps, sending Gulliver to any island will provide different snacks. Isle of Style islands guarantee 3 Gold Treats as souvenirs plus a 3-Treat completion bonus.

You can view three islands at a time; one free refresh is available daily. Remember that Gulliver's voyages require cargo, craftable in your furniture catalog. Certain islands require specific furniture themes (e.g., Exotic Island for modern-themed snacks). Use the magnifying glass on each island's icon to preview the available snacks; longer voyages (6 hours) generally yield more treats. For example, Piano Island offers all three tiers of Tart Snacks.

Alternative Snack Sources

  • Requests and Gifts: Rare item requests and visitor gifts occasionally provide Bronze, Silver, or Gold Treats.
  • Daily Goals: Silver and Gold Treats are often included in Daily Goals.
  • Blathers's Treasure Trek: Using Leaf Tokens (5 tokens for Auto-Trek) on Villager Maps guarantees Bronze, Silver, and Gold Treats.

Understanding Snack Types in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp

Snacks are categorized as regular (Bronze, Silver, and Gold Treats) or themed. Regular treats are universally liked. Themed snacks (e.g., Plain Donut) come in three tiers: Plain, Tasty, and Gourmet, with Gourmet providing the most friendship points. Plain snacks are easiest to obtain, while Gourmet snacks are typically found on longer voyages.

Maximizing Friendship Points

Always check an animal's theme (found by tapping their icon at your campsite or in your Contacts/Pete's Parcel Service) before gifting. Matching theme snacks yield significantly more friendship points. Gold Treats, being generic, provide the highest point value (25 points) regardless of theme. Ten Gold Treats can boost a level 1 animal to level 15. Remember to select "Have a snack!" (highlighted in red) to gain friendship points.
