HoYoverse has officially announced the launch date for Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7, titled 'Bury Your Tears with the Past,' set to roll out on April 23rd. This update is poised to wrap up the narrative threads from Season 1, bringing closure to several key plotlines.

The much-anticipated resolution of the Sacrifice crisis is at the heart of this update. Players will delve deeper into Vivian's intricate backstory and finally uncover the truth about Hugo's fate, which has been shrouded in mystery since his dramatic fall into the Hollow. The escalating tension between Mockingbird and TOPS, exacerbated by Hugo's incident, has prompted the Mayor to dispatch a special Void Hunter-rank investigator to the scene.

Here’s the Character Lineup

Version 1.7 introduces two new S-Rank Agents from Mockingbird. Vivian, an Ether Anomaly Agent, wields a parasol and rapier, delivering devastating Corruption damage, especially when synergizing with other characters' EX Special Attacks. Hugo, the second new addition, is an Ice Attack Agent equipped with a suitcase that transforms into a scythe. His attacks on stunned enemies trigger a Totalize effect, amplifying damage based on the duration of the stun.

Joining them is Robin, Mockingbird's agile Bangboo partner, who uses cards with unpredictable effects. Additionally, familiar faces Jane, a Physical Anomaly Agent, and Lighter, a Fire Stun Agent, will return in Version 1.7’s banners.

To keep the game engaging, Version 1.7 introduces new events like "Say It With Flowers," where players can manage a flower shop, fulfill design requests, and create floral arrangements. Completing these commissions unlocks a permanent floral arrangement mini-game in Quality Time mode and exclusive rewards.
