Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers are in for a treat this January 2025! Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders, a thrilling skiing game featuring co-op and PvP modes, drops on January 21st as a day-one title. This exciting addition follows a relatively quiet first half of the month, where most changes involved tier shifts rather than new releases.

While the initial January 2025 Game Pass additions were sparse, the second half promises a much more robust lineup. Following Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders, three more day-one games are scheduled: Eternal Strands (January 28th), Sniper Elite: Resistance (January 30th), and Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector (January 31st).

Of particular note is Eternal Strands, an action-adventure game from Yellow Brick Games, boasting a distinct Zelda-esque feel. This title, along with the other day-one releases, will be immediately accessible to Game Pass Ultimate members.
