Wuthering Waves Marks 1st Year with Live Fan Event

One year after launch, Kuro Games is celebrating the success of their action RPG Wuthering Waves. Instead of just in-game events, they brought the festivities into the real world with a global fan event held over the past month.

Events took place everywhere from Japan to China, with a North American stop in Los Angeles. Attendees enjoyed a packed schedule featuring a cosplay competition and a live performance of the Wuthering Waves soundtrack.

Guests were also treated to a buffet. If you missed out, don't worry—there's still plenty to anticipate. Version 2.4 of Wuthering Waves is coming soon, with a recent livestream revealing all the new content.

Version 2.4, titled Lightly We Toss the Crown, is shaping up to be an exciting update. Players can recruit two new major Resonators, Cartethyia and Lupa, and explore new story chapters in the Septimont region.

In a genre dominated by major players, it's worth noting when a game distinguishes itself. While Kuro Games faces strong competition from genre leader MiHoYo, fans clearly appreciate the fun alternative that Wuthering Waves provides.
