The Witcher 3 adaptation in the vein of fantasy movies from the 1980s

Tech enthusiasts continue to explore the potential of screen adaptations using modern technology, and their latest focus is the Witcher series. Sora AI, a YouTube channel creator, recently unveiled a concept trailer for a Witcher 3: Wild Hunt adaptation.

Styled to evoke the aesthetic of 1980s films, the project leverages neural network capabilities. The trailer features numerous recognizable characters from the Witcher universe, including Geralt, Yennefer, Ciri, Triss Merigold, Regis, Dijkstra, Priscilla, and others. While some minor visual alterations are present, the characters remain easily identifiable.

Recently, The Witcher 3 developers hinted at plans to incorporate Triss's wedding into the game. The "Ashen Marriage" quest was originally intended for Novigrad. The storyline involves Triss developing feelings for Castello and her desire for a swift marriage. Geralt assists with wedding preparations, including ridding the canals of monsters, procuring alcohol, and selecting a wedding gift.

Interestingly, Triss's reaction is directly influenced by the chosen gift. Less extravagant gifts receive a lukewarm response, while a memory rose—a familiar item from The Witcher 2—elicits a strong emotional response from her.
