Fresh from the success of *Dynasty Warriors: Origins*, Koei Tecmo has just released another thrilling entry into the musou genre with *Warriors: Abyss*. This new roguelite game features beloved characters from the Warriors series and is available starting today. Unveiled during the PlayStation State of Play, *Warriors: Abyss* introduces an exciting twist with its isometric camera view, drawing inspiration from games like *Diablo* and *Hades*. Players will embark on an intense journey through the depths of "hell," battling demonic forces alongside a handpicked squad.

Today's reveal showcased iconic characters such as Zhou Yu, Nobunaga Oda, and Sunshang Xiang, among others from the expansive Warriors universe. According to the PlayStation Blog, players have the opportunity to recruit and integrate these characters into their team, expanding their tactical options with summoning abilities. You can command up to seven active heroes in combat, with a launch roster boasting an impressive 100 warriors.

Koei Tecmo has ambitious plans for *Warriors: Abyss*, promising to introduce more characters post-launch. The first wave will include warriors from the Jin kingdom in *Dynasty Warriors*, with hints of even broader horizons, potentially featuring characters beyond the Warriors series.
