Space Marine 2 Public Test Server Launches with Major Update
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 has opened its first public test server (PTS), giving players an early look at the highly anticipated Update 7.0. Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive cautioned that these preliminary patch notes reflect most - but not all - of the upcoming changes, with final adjustments still coming.

- Automatic teammate teleportation in Inferno Operation (resolving griefing issues)
- Balance adjustments across all weapon families
- Complete revamps of many weapon perks
- Base damage increases for Bolt weapons
The extensive weapon balancing affects every class's arsenal, with particular attention given to:

- Plasma weaponry

The developers recently addressed concerns about content pacing and clarified their live service approach, promising regular updates throughout Space Marine 2's lifecycle.
