Unova Legends Descend for Pokémon GO's Black and White Kyurem Tour

Legendary Pokémon Debut

The Pokémon GO Tour: Unova, initially announced in December 2024, launches in February 2025. This update confirms the arrival of Black Kyurem, White Kyurem, and Shiny Meloetta. From February 21st to 23rd, 2025, in-person event attendees in New Taipei City, Taiwan, and Los Angeles, USA, can participate in special raids and fusion events.

Kyurem Fusion

To obtain Black or White Kyurem, players must first catch the base Kyurem form by defeating either Black or White Kyurem in five-star raids. Then, fusion is possible:

• Black Kyurem: Requires 1,000 Volt Fusion Energy, 30 Kyurem Candy, and 30 Zekrom Candy.
• White Kyurem: Requires 1,000 Blaze Fusion Energy, 30 Kyurem Candy, and 30 Reshiram Candy.

Fusion Energy is earned by completing raids featuring Black or White Kyurem. Reversion to the base form is free. Shiny Kyurem, Reshiram, and Zekrom have increased encounter rates during the event.

Global Event & Shiny Meloetta

The event expands globally from March 1st to 2nd, 2025, as Pokémon GO Tour: Unova – Global, accessible to all players without a ticket.

Shiny Meloetta debuts! In-person event ticket holders can complete a Masterwork Research task to encounter this Pokémon. The research doesn't expire, allowing completion at your own pace.
