Ultra Beasts Return to Pokemon Go Before 2024 Global Fest

Pokémon Go fans have been riding high with the various in-person Pokémon Go Fest 2024 events. If you missed out on those, don’t fret—the global version of the fest is just around the corner. But before that, Niantic has something special lined up for you, and it involves Pokémon from another dimension: the Ultra Beasts.

From July 8th to 13th, the Ultra Bests Inbound event will feature these intriguing creatures throughout the AR game. You'll find Ultra Beasts in raids, research tasks, and various challenges, giving you ample opportunities to catch them. Each day, a different set of Ultra Beasts will appear in five-star raids, with some being hemisphere-specific, ensuring everyone has something unique to pursue. If raids aren't your thing, you can also encounter these Ultra Beasts by completing Timed Research missions. To enhance your participation, Niantic is removing the Remote Raid limit, allowing you to join as many raids as you like.

To maximize your experience during the Ultra Bests Inbound event, consider purchasing the Inbound from Ultra Space ticket for $5. This ticket grants access to exclusive quests with additional rewards, including 5,000 XP from completed raids, double Stardust on winning Ultra Beast Raid Battles, and plenty of Candy for various Pokémon.

Don't forget to keep an eye out for the new Special Backgrounds, which you can earn by catching specific Pokémon from Raid Battles. These backgrounds are exclusive to in-person events and are a fantastic way to showcase your skills. Learn more about them in this official blog post.
