Pokémon Go's March Community Day Classic is set to feature Totodile, giving trainers another opportunity to catch this popular Water-type Pokémon in abundance. Mark your calendars for March 22nd, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm local time, when Totodile will be appearing more frequently in the wild. This is your chance to not only add more Totodile to your collection but also to encounter a Shiny Totodile if fortune favors you.

During the event or up until March 29th at 10:00 pm local time, evolving your Croconaw into Feraligatr will grant it the powerful Charged Attack, Hydro Cannon. With 80 power in Trainer Battles and 90 power in Gyms and raids, Hydro Cannon is a valuable addition to any Water-type team, significantly boosting Feraligatr's combat effectiveness.

To maximize your rewards from this event, consider purchasing the Community Day Classic Special Research for just $2 (or the equivalent in your local currency). By completing this research, you can earn enticing rewards such as a Premium Battle Pass, Rare Candy XL, and multiple encounters with Totodile, some of which may feature a Seasonal Special Background.

Logging in during the Community Day Classic will also unlock a week-long Timed Research, giving you additional opportunities to encounter Totodile and evolve a Feraligatr that knows Hydro Cannon before the deadline.
