Happy New Year! Welcome to 2025! Another year, another orbit around that giant ball of fire we call the sun. Let's dive into the exciting game releases planned for 2025.

January 2025

Dynasty Warriors: Origins
Tecmo Koei's *Dynasty Warriors: Origins*, the first mainline entry since 2018, launches January 17th. Get ready for a current-gen spectacle of musou mayhem on PS5, Xbox Series consoles, and PC. Prepare to yell "DIE, NASTY WARRIORS!" as you mow down countless enemies.

If long-range sniping is more your style, Sniper Elite: Resistance arrives January 30th. This latest installment continues the tradition of… well, let's just say it's a gratuitous Nazi-castration-simulator. Expect more of what you love (shooting Nazis in the… you know where) on all Xboxes and PlayStations, plus PC.

February 2025

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Is it real life? Is it fantasy? Neither, but it *is* a bohemian rhapsody! *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2* continues Henry of Skalitz's adventures in 14th-century Bohemia on February 11th. Expect deep RPG mechanics and a massive open world on current-gen consoles and PC.

Also launching February 11th, Sid Meier's Civilization VII needs little introduction. Explore, Expand, Exploit, and… well, you know the rest. Guide your civilization through history on practically every platform, including Linux (sorry, mobile users – for now).

On February 14th, Assassin's Creed Shadows takes the series to feudal Japan. Play as both ninja and samurai with dual protagonists. Available on current-gen and PC.

Feeling lonely on Valentine's Day? Date Everything! (February 14th, PS5, Xbox Series consoles, Switch, and PC) offers a unique dating sim experience – you might even date a sandbox! Over 100 fully voice-acted inanimate objects await your romantic advances.

Monster Hunter Wilds
Obsidian's *Avowed* (February 18th, Xbox Series consoles and PC) takes the Pillars of Eternity universe into a first-person, real-time action RPG. Don't expect an epic timesink; the developers aim for a length closer to *The Outer Worlds*.

If you prefer nautical adventures, Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii (February 21st, Xboxes, PlayStations, and PC) sees Goro Majima embarking on a pirate career after amnesia strikes.

And finally, Monster Hunter Wilds (February 28th, Xbox Series, PS5, and PC) aims to refine the core experience while adding new features to satisfy both veterans and newcomers.

March 2025

Split Fiction
Hazelight Studios brings another co-op adventure, *Split Fiction* (March 6th, PC and current-gen consoles). Expect bizarre sci-fi and fantasy adventures, including a memorable pig-to-hot-dog transformation. One copy lets two players enjoy the online experience.

For a more tranquil experience, Tales of the Shire (March 25th, PS5, Xbox Series consoles, Switch, and PC) lets you live the life of an ordinary hobbit in Middle-earth.

Atomfall
Prefer post-apocalyptic adventures? *Atomfall* (March 27th, all platforms except Switch) offers a Fallout-esque experience with a strong Stalker influence, exploring a grim alternate future.

The First Berserker: Khazan (March 27th, Xboxes, PlayStations, and PC) expands the Dungeon Fighter Online universe with a single-player action RPG.

And finally, inZOI (March 28th, PC with current-gen console versions later) might just be a Sims killer. This visually stunning South Korean title could be one of the year's biggest releases.

April 2025

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves
*Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves* (April 24th, PlayStations, Xbox Series, and PC) marks the series' first new entry this century. Terry Bogard and company return in this mainline sequel to 1999's *Mark of the Wolves*.
