"Thousands to Test New Battlefield Features"
EA has unveiled an exciting new tool called Battlefield Labs, which serves as an internal closed beta for upcoming games in the iconic Battlefield series. This initiative allows a select group of players to get an early look at what's on the horizon. The developers have even teased us with a brief glimpse of gameplay from the pre-alpha stage, stirring anticipation among fans.
Participants in Battlefield Labs will have the unique opportunity to test out core mechanics and innovative concepts, although not every feature explored in the labs will necessarily make it into the final game. Before diving into the action, invitees must agree to a non-disclosure agreement (NDA), ensuring the secrecy of the early development stages. The testing will kick off with popular modes like Conquest and Breakthrough, with initial focus areas being combat dynamics and the game's renowned destruction system. Subsequent phases will shift attention to balance testing, fine-tuning the gameplay experience.
Pre-registration is now open for players on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series, with EA planning to send out invitations to a few thousand eager testers in the coming weeks. The company has ambitions to gradually expand the testing to additional regions, broadening the scope of feedback and engagement.
