Team Go Rocket Returns for Fashion Week, Ho-Oh Shadow Raid Day Announced

Pokémon GO's Fashion Week: Taken Over is bringing a stylish showdown! From January 15th to 19th, prepare for a flurry of fashionable Pokémon events.

This year's Fashion Week features the highly anticipated debut of Shroodle and its evolution, Grafaiai. Shroodle will be hatching from 12 km Eggs.

Team GO Rocket is back and bolder than ever! They'll be more prevalent at PokéStops and in balloons, providing ample chances to battle and potentially rescue Shiny Shadow Pokémon. New Shadow Pokémon additions include Taillow, Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, Trubbish, and Bunnelby. For the first time, you can use Remote Raid Passes to participate in Shadow Raids, regardless of location.

The event's Special Research will lead you to a Super Rocket Radar, culminating in a battle against Giovanni to rescue Shadow Palkia. Field Research tasks will offer rewards like Mysterious Components, Charged TMs, and Fast TMs. A special Collection Challenge rewards Stardust and a Trubbish encounter. Ho-Oh's Shadow Raid Day takes place on January 19th, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. This event boasts increased Raid Pass availability, boosted Shiny Ho-Oh encounter rates, and the chance for Ho-Oh to learn the devastating Charged Attack, Sacred Fire. A $5 event ticket unlocks even more rewards. Get ready for a fashionable fight!
