The Tachyon Medal is a crucial late-game item, integral to a challenging and extensive side quest. Obtaining it is just the first step; its true purpose unfolds later. Here's a guide to acquiring and using this powerful artifact.
Where To Find the Tachyon Medal in Fantasian Neo Dimension
The Tachyon Medal is first mentioned in Shangri-La and serves as the final item obtained before the final boss encounter. To acquire it, progress through the main storyline until you reach Sanctum, nestled within the God Realm, accessible via the Communication Network. Inside the Mirror of Order, you'll face God's Predator, a formidable but conquerable boss. Be prepared, as it frequently summons allies and employs a devastating "Consume" attack that drains 90% of your health. Kina's healing abilities are essential here. Equipping Petrification Null gear will significantly ease the battle.
Leo's Fire Samidare +2 proves highly effective against summoned enemies. Consider bringing Cherryl, whose "Concentrate" and "Charge" abilities inflict substantial damage.
After defeating God's Predator, proceed to the Laboratory through the Balcony. Amidst the rubble, locate a chest to your right—it contains the Tachyon Medal.
How To Utilize the Tachyon Medal in Fantasian Neo Dimension
Using the Tachyon Medal requires completing two objectives. First, reach the Altar in Shangri-La. Second, complete the Cinderella Tri-Stars side quest. These elusive stars appear in eight locations, the first two encountered during the main story:
- En New District
- Midi Toy Box - Secret Room
- Royal Capital - Main Street
- Frozen Tundra - Center
- Hidden Valley – Duet Path
- Ancient Hill – River
- Nameless Island – Depths
- Shangri-La – Fallen City
Defeat the bosses in the prescribed order. After the final defeat in Shangri-La, three chests will appear beneath the Altar. One contains the Holy Belt, granting All Ailment Null.
Once all chests are opened, a glowing door will activate, prompting you to use the Tachyon Medal to rewind time. Possessing the Medal initiates NG+ from this point, carrying over levels, items, and equipment. While enemies are enhanced, this shouldn't pose a significant challenge, especially if all side quests are completed beforehand. Using the Medal unlocks the Time Reverse Trophy/Achievement, allowing you to restart your journey to save the Human Realm.
