Nintendo Switch 2 Pre-Orders Face Unexpected Delays

Global pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch 2 were scheduled to begin on April 9, but economic disruptions stemming from new tariffs have forced Nintendo to postpone U.S. and Canadian launches. International markets like the UK proceeded with pre-orders as planned.

According to Nintendo's official FAQ, initial pre-order invitations through the My Nintendo Store will start rolling out on May 8, 2025. Details about retail pre-orders remain unavailable at this time.
