Street Fighter 6 meta - which characters are most popular on top level
The Capcom Pro Tour has concluded, revealing the 48 competitors for Capcom Cup 11. While the focus is usually on the players themselves, let's examine the character choices made by the elite.
Following the World Warrior circuit's conclusion, EventHubs compiled statistics on the most frequently used Street Fighter 6 characters at the highest competitive level. This data provides a valuable insight into the game's balance. Remarkably, all 24 characters saw representation, though from nearly two hundred players (including eight finalists from 24 regions), only one chose Ryu. Even the recently added Terry Bogard was selected by a mere two players.
Dominating the professional scene are Cammy, Ken, and M. Bison, each favored as the main character by 17 players. A significant gap separates this top tier from the next, which includes Akuma (12 players), Ed and Luke (both 11), and JP and Chun-Li (both with 10). Among the less popular choices, Zangief, Guile, and Juri stand out, each selected as a main by seven players.
Capcom Cup 11 is set for March in Tokyo, with a $1 million prize awaiting the champion.
