Stalker 2: How To Get The Unique Cavalier Rifle

Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl boasts a diverse arsenal, letting you tailor your loadout to your preferred playstyle. Beyond the standard issue weaponry, you can uncover unique, named weapons—each packing special modifications or superior firepower. The Cavalier sniper rifle is a prime example. This special variant features a red-dot sight instead of a traditional scope, making it exceptionally effective at short to medium ranges.

Acquiring the Unique Cavalier Rifle in Stalker 2

The Cavalier Sniper Rifle awaits within the Duga base, specifically near the Military Unit. It's tucked away in a warehouse connected to a greenhouse. If you've already visited Duga to retrieve the Journalist stash, navigating to this location should be straightforward via the secondary entrance.

Accessing the Warehouse near the Duga Military Unit

Upon entering Duga, head towards the Military Unit building (as marked on your map). You don't need to enter the building itself; circumnavigate it to reach the greenhouse at the rear. Proceed with caution, as two Pseudogiants patrol this area and will attack on sight. If you prefer to avoid a confrontation, approach the greenhouse stealthily.

Once inside the greenhouse, you'll find yourself in the warehouse. Be prepared—swarms of rats will instantly attack, rapidly depleting your health. Utilize the elevated green platforms at the warehouse's rear to gain a tactical advantage and avoid the rodent onslaught. Consider using a grenade to swiftly eliminate the threat.

Retrieving the Cavalier Rifle

After dealing with the rats, focus your attention on the warehouse ceiling above the greenhouse entryway. You'll spot wooden boards coated in yellow paint. Destroy these boards using your weapon to reveal and retrieve the Cavalier sniper rifle.

Safely exit Duga with your new acquisition. The Cavalier can be further upgraded by Screw, the technician at Rostok base. Its exceptional damage and accuracy are further enhanced through upgrades and modifications. For players who prefer red-dot sights over traditional scopes on their sniper rifles, the Cavalier offers a compelling option, ideal for close to medium-range engagements.
