The Sims Freeplay Launches Make a Splash Summer Update

Summer is officially here in The Sims! The new Make a Splash update kicks off the broader Summer Vacation Series in The Sims Freeplay. The first chapter is now available, focusing on celebrating all the best parts of summer.
From vibrant street parties and sunny pool days to backyard barbecues!
The fun begins with the Make a Splash update in The Sims Freeplay, guiding you through exciting vacation escapes. Rocky Heights has also expanded. Players who finished Rustic Acres can now unlock Breezy Fields. This second neighborhood draws inspiration from Dutch flower fields and vast open scenery.
Breezy Fields includes four new house lots, a landmark, and a variety of rewards, including a decorative tractor item. Just note, the road might require some repairs before you can drive on it.
SimTown is also joining the Pride 2025 celebrations. During this update, you’ll get two free inbox gifts—one early in the month and another later. Rainbow crosswalks are now brightening up the SimTown map. Plus, a new Craft Challenge event is encouraging residents to help create lively decorations for the big celebration.
Explore a Full Calendar of Events!
First, the Influence Island: Currency Heist event challenges you to track down a group of burglars stealing money from local stores. Your reward is an impressive one million Simoleons, plus Life Points and Social Points.
Another major event is the Craft Challenge – SimTown Pride Party. Help bring the Pride festivities to life by crafting bright, joyful decorations.
Then, Influence Island – Pool’s Out For Summer?! introduces some drama. Nancy Landgraab plans to tear down the town's favorite pool and replace it with a twelve-story parking garage. It's up to a team of wealthy investors, relaxing on a nearby beach, to step in and stop her.
