Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown Arrives on Android

Ubisoft's acclaimed metroidvania action game Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown has officially launched on Android. Originally released for PC in January 2024, players now step into the role of Sargon, a skilled warrior from the elite Immortals group.

Embark on an Epic Rescue Mission

Queen Thomyris dispatches Sargon and his fellow warriors to save her abducted son, Prince Ghassan. Their journey leads them to the once-sacred Mount Qaf – now a treacherous landscape overrun by time-distorted creatures and corrupted terrain.

Despite being a single mountain, Mount Qaf offers remarkable environmental diversity. Players will explore ancient ruins, forgotten deserts, and other distinct zones interconnected through clever world design. A unique mapping feature even lets you snapshot landmarks to navigate this expansive world.

Innovative Gameplay Mechanics

The game introduces inventive platforming elements like Shadow Teleportation – dropping a marker to warp back during intense sequences. Combat shines through customizable amulet upgrades and devastating Athra Surge ultimate abilities that turn the tide of battle.

Side quests enrich Mount Qaf's lore while rewarding players with collectibles and additional challenges.

Optimized Mobile Experience

The Android version delivers exclusive mobile-friendly features:

  • Customizable touch controls
  • External controller support
  • Accessibility options like auto-parry and defensive shield assists
  • Smooth 60FPS performance on modern devices
  • Adaptive screen ratios (16:9 to 20:9)

A free trial is currently available on the Google Play Store. Early adopters can unlock the full game for $9 during the first three weeks (regular price: $14).
