Karrablast and Shelmet will be appearing more frequently in the wild, increasing your chances of catching them, including their Shiny variants. The real highlight? Their evolutions!

Evolving Karrablast during the event (or until 10:00 p.m. local time on February 16th) yields an Escavalier knowing the Charged Attack Razor Shell (35 power in Trainer Battles, 55 power in Gyms/Raids). Similarly, evolving Shelmet within this timeframe grants an Accelgor with the Charged Attack Energy Ball (90 power in all battle types).

Special Research and Timed Research:

A Special Research taskline offers encounters with Karrablast and Shelmet featuring special Dual Destiny-themed backgrounds, plus a Premium Battle Pass and a Rare Candy XL. A week-long Timed Research event follows Community Day, unlocking further encounters with these Pokémon and their themed backgrounds.
