Onimusha: Way of the Sword unveils its protagonist, Miyamoto Musashi, whose striking resemblance to legendary Japanese actor Toshiro Mifune is achieved through sophisticated motion capture. The trailer depicts Musashi's valiant battles against demons invading Kyoto, punctuated by moments of humorous evasion.
The game's narrative centers on Musashi's divinely bestowed power, the Oni Gauntlet. He must confront and vanquish these hellish creatures, absorbing their souls to replenish his health and unlock potent abilities.
