Gigabyte GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Gaming OC 16GB Graphics Card
$979.99 at Amazon
While the listed price for this card is $979.99, it's worth noting that it's actually priced about $100-$150 higher than its true value. The reference GeForce RTX 5070 Ti card is meant to retail at $750. Gigabyte's WindForce triple fan cooling system adds around $50 to the cost, and the card being overclocked out of the box adds another $50, bringing the expected price to around $850—still $120 less than the current asking price.
The reality is that third-party manufacturers like Gigabyte, MSI, and Asus are capitalizing on the high demand by marking up prices from the start. Unfortunately, finding another RTX 5070 Ti GPU at this price or lower is challenging, as they're generally selling for over $1,000 on eBay.
The RTX 5070 Ti GPU Has Excellent 4K Gaming Performance
Among the Blackwell cards released so far, the RTX 5070 Ti offers the best value, particularly when compared to the previous generation GPUs. It performs comparably to the RTX 4080 Super and significantly outpaces the RTX 5080, which is only 10%-15% faster but costs 33% more. This GPU delivers high framerates in nearly all games, even at 4K resolution with ray tracing enabled. Moreover, if you're considering using this card for AI tasks, the RTX 5070 Ti might be a better choice than the RTX 50870, as both come equipped with 16GB of GDDR7 VRAM.
Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti GPU Review by Jacqueline Thomas
"At $749, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti is the best 4K graphics card for most people, delivering significantly better value than either the RTX 5080 or 5090. Across my entire test suite, this GPU excelled at 4K, coming close to much more expensive graphics cards, and that's before considering multi-frame generation, which will enable the RTX 5070 Ti to achieve even higher framerates, albeit with some latency trade-offs."
