Which Nintendo Franchise Deserves a LEGO Set the Most in 2025?

The LEGO Nintendo collaborations have already yielded some fantastic sets, including last year's impressive moving Mario and Yoshi set, and the first-ever LEGO Legend of Zelda set. However, the possibilities extend far beyond the current offerings, which primarily focus on Mario (including Donkey Kong) and Animal Crossing. As a fan of both LEGO and Nintendo, I, and many others, eagerly anticipate expansions into other beloved franchises.

Considering the current landscape, the question remains: which Nintendo franchise deserves the LEGO treatment next?

With the upcoming Switch 2, excitement for the next generation of Nintendo is at a fever pitch. This increased interest likely translates to continued LEGO Nintendo releases, fueled by the success of the new Mario movie and the anticipated live-action Zelda adaptation. What new LEGO sets could we realistically expect in 2025 and beyond? Share your predictions in the comments!

Personally, I believe a Metroid set would be phenomenal. With Metroid Prime 4 on the horizon, the timing couldn't be better for some truly epic LEGO builds. Beyond that, I'd love to see official LEGO Pokémon sets, a departure from the existing MEGA constructions. However, given Mattel's licensing agreement with The Pokémon Company, this might be a long shot.
