Nintendo Adding Wario Land 4 to Nintendo Switch Online Library

Nintendo Switch Online subscribers with the Expansion Pack will soon be able to enjoy the classic Game Boy Advance title, Wario Land 4, launching February 14th.

A newly released trailer showcases the game's return. Access is included at no additional cost for those with a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscription.

The game's synopsis teases Wario's latest treasure hunt: "The misguided Wario is back, and this time he's in search of riches. Ignoring all warning signs, Wario decides to enter a cursed pyramid rumored to house a mountain of gold and jewels. Our anti-hero quickly learns that the curse is no laughing matter, realizing he'll be lucky to escape alive."

Players can expect 20 expansive levels to explore, with rewards for collecting gold and treasure used to purchase bonus items after each stage. Relaxation is also offered through a selection of engaging mini-games.

Originally released in 2001, Wario Land 4 was critically acclaimed, receiving a 9/10 rating from IGN. The review praised the game's diverse level design and challenging gameplay, emphasizing the unique puzzle-solving elements required to progress.

This addition brings the total number of Game Boy Advance titles available to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members to 24, joining popular games such as Mario Kart: Super Circuit, The Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap, and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team.
