Monster Hunter Wilds Player Shows How Connected Its World Is With 9-Minute Seikret Trip

Author : Ethan Update : Mar 15,2025

The world of Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak is surprisingly interconnected. One player recently demonstrated this with an epic journey across its diverse zones, showcasing the seamless transition between areas.

On the Monster Hunter subreddit, user -BrotherPig- shared a video (see below) documenting their remarkable trek. Beginning in the Windward Plains, they traversed dunes and mountains, eventually reaching the game's late-game locales. (Spoiler alert for those who haven't completed the main campaign!)

Did you know there's only 1 loading screen between the Plains and Suja? 9min ride through all zones.

This lengthy journey impressively highlights the game's interconnected zones. Only one loading screen interrupts the entire trip, occurring between the Oilwell Basin and Iceshard Cliffs. Otherwise, it's a continuous run, a testament to the game's design and likely the stamina of the player character.

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak isn't entirely free of loading screens; there are loading screens for the training grounds and fast travel, as well as when joining a friend's quest. However, the video beautifully illustrates the game's connectivity, offering a fresh perspective on the passages linking the Forbidden Lands.

According to a series producer, the game's success lies in its compelling story, immersive world, and cross-play functionality. Personally, I've enjoyed witnessing players' discoveries within Sunbreak's open world and its unique take on established series mechanics. Regardless of your reason for playing, there's plenty to keep you engaged until the first Title Update in April.

IGN's review of Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak awarded it an 8/10, stating: “Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak continues to refine the series' formula, resulting in incredibly fun battles, though lacking in significant challenge.”
