Minecraft Launches Dungeons & Dragons DLC

Minecraft continues to expand its partnership lineup, with several beloved brands making a comeback. Among them is Dungeons & Dragons, with another DLC release named A New Quest. Unsurprisingly, a reveal trailer was launched alongside the news.

The developers have pledged to bring a sprawling world packed with recognizable D&D settings. Adventurers will meet new companions as well as dangerous foes—owlbears, hags, mind flayers, and more are all included. From the trailer, it looks like this journey will be full of twists and excitement.

Staying faithful to Dungeons & Dragons’ core experience, players can pick a class and steadily advance their character’s abilities. A New Quest is a completely standalone DLC, so the earlier expansion is not necessary to enjoy this one.

The DLC can already be bought in the Minecraft marketplace for 1,510 Minecoins, roughly equivalent to $10 USD.
