While this genre isn't typically my cup of tea, I understand its appeal. For those who enjoy this type of game, another entry in the genre is always welcome. However, if you're seeking a game that significantly innovates the formula, you might want to explore other options.

Love the decor

I may not personally appreciate the appeal, but I can see it theoretically. Games like June's Journey demonstrate the strong audience engagement possible with ongoing storylines. However, Merge Flavor feels like a game that throws everything in to see what sticks.

Despite this, the game boasts good graphics, simple gameplay, and all the expected features. For the right player, it's likely a perfect fit.
