Leaked Marvel Rivals files reveal upcoming PvE content featuring a boss battle against a kraken. Dataminer X0X_Leaks discovered animations for the kraken model, though high-resolution textures are currently absent. X0X_Leaks demonstrated the kraken's potential in-game size using existing game parameters.

Separately, Marvel Rivals announced a major Spring Festival event launching this Thursday. This event introduces "Clash of Dancing Lions," a 3v3 game mode where teams compete to score a ball in the opponent's goal. The mode bears a strong resemblance to Overwatch's Lucioball, and, by extension, Rocket League.

This similarity is noteworthy, given Marvel Rivals' apparent attempt to establish a unique identity distinct from Overwatch. While the new mode shares similarities with Overwatch's initial event, Marvel Rivals' event incorporates a distinct Chinese cultural theme, contrasting with Overwatch's Olympic Games theme.
