Ironheart Trailer: Riri Williams Smashes Truck, Meets The Hood

Marvel Studios has unveiled the first trailer for their eagerly anticipated Disney+ series, *Ironheart*, spotlighting the journey of Riri Williams, portrayed by Dominique Thorne, who first donned her armor in *Black Panther: Wakanda Forever* (2022). Joining her is Anthony Ramos as Parker Robbins, also known as The Hood, who plays a pivotal role in Riri's transformation into a standalone superhero. The trailer offers a tantalizing glimpse into the series, which premieres with three episodes on June 24 at 6pm PT/9pm ET.

In the trailer, Riri reflects on her experiences in Wakanda as an "internship abroad," but her journey takes a dramatic turn when she's expelled from MIT. This sets the stage for The Hood to challenge her moral compass, hinting at the complexities of achieving greatness. The footage showcases Riri suiting up as Ironheart, soaring through the skies, and engaging in high-octane action, including a scene where she grounds herself to deliver a powerful punch that sends a truck flying overhead.

Executive produced by Ryan Coogler, *Ironheart* promises to delve deep into Riri's evolution as a hero, with Parker Robbins/The Hood serving as both a mentor and a mysterious figure whose intentions may not be entirely clear.

Marvel's lineup of upcoming shows extends beyond *Ironheart*. Fans can look forward to *Eyes of Wakanda*, a four-episode animated series about the elite Wakandan warriors, the Hatut Zaraze, premiering on August 6. Additionally, *Marvel Zombies*, another four-episode animated series set in the zombie reality from *What If…?*, will debut on October 3, featuring a stellar cast reprising their roles from the MCU.

Finally, the live-action series *Wonder Man* is slated for a December 2025 release, with Yahya Abdul-Mateen II starring as Simon Williams, alongside Ben Kingsley reprising his role as Trevor Slattery and Demetrius Grosse as the Grim Reaper, Simon's villainous brother.
