Infinity Nikki Delays Version 1.6 Launch Following Community Backlash

After weeks of players seeking clarity, the development team behind Infinity Nikki has finally addressed the community's concerns. The rocky rollout of Version 1.5 left many feeling that the update was released prematurely. In a candid admission, the team acknowledged they were not fully prepared for the launch, which has led to the decision to delay Version 1.6.

When Is the Update Releasing?

Originally slated for release on June 4th, Version 1.6 has now been rescheduled to June 12th. This delay extends the current Bubble Season, keeping events such as Chase the Bubbles, Rainbow Album, and Where Are the Gifties? active until the new release date. Stores like Pear-Pal Selected/Store: Clothing, Heartfelt Gifts, and the Shake Up Bubble Jar! top-up event will also remain open. Additionally, weekly tasks such as Starlit Pursuit, initially scheduled for May 20th, have been postponed to coincide with Version 1.6.

The developers have issued an apology, citing challenges with performance across various platforms, including PlayStation. They are currently refining gameplay systems and have assured players that missing storylines, such as Threads of Reunion, are not being abandoned but merely delayed.

Apart from the Version 1.6 Delays, What’s Up with Infinity Nikki?

The game has been plagued by issues, including bugs, broken quests, and co-op malfunctions. In an effort to mitigate the fallout, the team is offering compensation of 120 Diamonds and 1 Crystal per day from June 5th to June 12th, requiring daily log-ins to claim the rewards.

Some players view this as a desperate attempt to salvage engagement metrics following the mishaps. There's also a sense of disappointment among the community due to the swift transition from the apology to promotional banners for new outfits.
