Indiana Jones Expansion Arrives September 4

The highly anticipated first expansion for Indiana Jones and The Great Circle, titled The Order of the Giants, received a release date during today's Xbox Games Showcase 2025. The DLC launches September 4, 2025 across all platforms including PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5.

Following its acclaimed 2024 debut, this expansion promises to further explore the game's mysterious Nephilim Order - the ancient race of giants central to the original story. While the teaser confirms more giant lore, it remains uncertain whether players will encounter more of Tony Todd's memorable Locus character.

Ancient Mysteries Await in Rome

Set within the existing game's timeline, the expansion builds upon the Rome location through new narrative threads. Players begin the adventure by meeting Father Ricci, a new character searching for another artifact tied to the Nephilim legacy.

"Creating the Nephilim Order was one of our most rewarding creative challenges," said production director John Jennings. "This expansion lets us expand their millennia-spanning story in unexpected ways that will surprise even our most dedicated players."

New Adventures Beneath Rome

The expansion introduces multiple fresh experiences:

• Previously unexplored sections of ancient Rome
• The city's underground sewer network
• A clandestine gladiator arena connected to Emperor Nero
• Confrontations with the shadowy Cult of Mithras
