Iconic Bethesda Voice Actor of Skyrim, Fallout 3, and More Found 'Barely Alive' as Family Seek Support
Renowned Bethesda voice actor Wes Johnson, known for his roles in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Fallout 3, Starfield, and numerous other titles, was discovered critically ill in his hotel room last week, prompting a heartfelt plea for support from his family.
As reported by PC Gamer, Johnson's wife Kim and family launched a GoFundMe campaign to cover mounting medical expenses and living costs during his incapacitation. The campaign states that Johnson is currently fighting for his life in an intensive care unit.
The situation unfolded after Johnson volunteered to host a benefit event for the National Alzheimer’s Foundation in Atlanta on January 22nd. Following his arrival and hotel check-in, his absence from the event triggered a frantic search.
According to the GoFundMe post, Kim Johnson desperately attempted to contact him. Hotel security was eventually required to access his room, where they found him unconscious and barely alive. Emergency responders reportedly struggled to detect a pulse.
His prolific video game work is largely associated with Bethesda Game Studios. Recent roles include Ron Hope in Starfield. His past credits encompass a wide range of iconic characters, such as Sheogorath and Lucien Lachance in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, three Daedric Princes (Boethiah, Malacath, and Molag Bal) in The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, Fawkes and Maister Burke in Fallout 3, Hermaeus Mora and Emperor Titus Mede II in Skyrim, and Moe Cronin in Fallout 4, among many others.
