Fans of *Star Wars Jedi: Survivor* were thrilled to see new figures included in this latest wave of Star Wars toys. Nightsister Merrin receives a new figure, while the series protagonist, Cal Kestis, is featured in a three-pack set with Turgle and Skoova Stev. Notably, Cal's figure comes with multiple head options, including one sporting a handlebar mustache, which was a key focus for this release according to Houle.
"We really wanted to have fun with it," Houle shared with IGN. "This is one of my favorite packs that we revealed in the panel. We started with the handlebar mustache and the mullet, then added the clean-cut and short beard looks later. The primary look we're aiming for is almost the handlebar—it's just so much fun."
Merrin's inclusion was a no-brainer, given her significant role in the *Fallen Order* and *Survivor* saga. The challenge lay in accurately capturing her unique Force abilities.
"It's tough to have Cal without Merrin," Reiff explained. "So we're glad we finally got to Merrin, but doing that Force effect, the green blast, all the intricate details of her new costume and the face tattoos with inkjet printing—there's beautiful subtlety there. She's a really cool character, and we know fans are invested in her, allowing us to build out that world even more."
This year's lineup also includes two familiar faces: Han Solo and Chewbacca. Despite the numerous iterations of these characters over the years, Houle believes there's always room for enhancement.
"It's been a while since we revisited them," Houle noted. "They needed an update, so we gave them fully new tools with the latest articulation, allowing fans to enjoy these classic characters with today's technology. We've also made several updates beyond just articulation. We learned a lot from previous Wookiee figures, especially in managing long hair."
Houle added, "Despite Chewbacca's long hair, we used softer plastics so he can pivot and move his head seamlessly. For Han, we added articulation to the top of his boot instead of a thigh break to maintain the clean look of the red bars on his thigh."

Perhaps the most striking figure in this lineup is The Ronin, inspired by the anime anthology series *Star Wars: Visions*. The Ronin is a black-and-white figure with a red katana lightsaber as its only splash of color. As a Celebration-exclusive release, both Houle and Reiff emphasized the importance of getting the details just right.
"We stayed true to the vision," Houle said. "We incorporated lessons from Japanese culture into the design, from the premium packaging with magnets to the clean look and watercoloring. The accessories are cleverly hidden on the top of the box, ensuring a cohesive and elegant presentation. We paid meticulous attention to everything from packaging to design and engineering."
Reiff added, "We even used Japanese language for this exclusive packaging, which we don't normally do. But since we're in Japan, we wanted to fully embrace the culture and create a special Japanese-language package."
Lastly, Hasbro delighted fans of the 1:1 scale Black Series helmet line with the reveal of a meticulously detailed Death Trooper helmet during their Celebration panel.
"It's a completely new tooled helmet for the Black Series Premium roleplay line," Reiff said. "It looks like it's straight out of the movie, with weathering and lighting details. You can control the chin lights and the spectre sensor lights with a button on the side. It's a great addition to our line. Working closely with Lucasfilm, we used original files to nail all the details and added our own touches to the interior, which the real ones never had."
