New Game+ mode in Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii will be free

The holiday break is behind us, and it's time for some exciting gaming news! While we eagerly anticipate updates on the Nintendo Switch 2, let's focus on another highly anticipated title: Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio recently unveiled new gameplay footage, revealing a wealth of features.

The showcased gameplay highlighted extensive ship customization, open-world sea exploration, thrilling naval battles, engaging mini-games, and diverse explorable locations. A key highlight is Goro Majima's dual combat styles: a swift, agile approach and a powerful style utilizing short swords and pirate weaponry.

Players can assemble a unique crew of allies, each contributing to battles, exploration, and treasure hunting. The game promises hidden islands and original side quests to discover during gameplay.

A significant announcement came at the presentation's conclusion: the "New Game+" mode will be free for all players via a post-launch patch. This is a welcome change from the previous title, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, where this mode was exclusive to a pricier edition, drawing criticism from SEGA. This positive development means we only have to wait approximately six weeks for the official release.
