Folio Society Unveils Lavish Hardcover of China Miéville's Perdido Street Station

China Miéville's Perdido Street Station stands as a landmark in the realm of fantasy literature, renowned for its contribution to the "weird fiction" genre. Its inclusion in The Folio Society's collection of deluxe hardcovers is a testament to its enduring appeal and significance.

In celebration of its 25th anniversary, The Folio Society is set to release a luxurious 707-page hardcover edition of Perdido Street Station. This special edition features a new afterword penned by Miéville himself, along with a series of new illustrations by artist Doug Bell. Bell's work enriches the text with 8 black and white chapter opening images, 12 vibrant full-color illustrations, and a meticulously crafted map of the city of New Crobuzon.
